Greenway Medical Technologies Continues Fast-Paced Growth With Addition of Cardiovascular Specialty Associates of North Texas (CSANT)

Greenway's Consistent Growth Highlighted with Signing of 1,000th Customer

CARROLLTON, Ga., March 18 Greenway Medical Technologies, a leading provider of integrated electronic health records (EHR), practice management and interoperability solutions, today announced Cardiovascular Specialty Services of North Texas (CSANT) will be deploying PrimeSuite 2008, Greenway's CCHIT Certified(R) 08 EHR product that includes certification in cardiovascular medicine.

CSANT highlights Greenway's continued industry and specialty-specific growth, which recently topped 1,000 customers. CSANT will utilize PrimeSuite(R) to streamline its clinical, financial and administrative workflows and create an interoperable system that allows the 50-physician practice to share patient information amongst the 18 locations in the CSANT network and, ultimately, with other care providers in the greater-Dallas metroplex.

CSANT has been treating patients in northern Texas for more than 25 years and is one of the largest cardiology groups in the region, seeing several thousand patients each year. Headquartered in Irving, Texas, with offices throughout Dallas and northern Texas, CSANT focuses on all aspects of complete cardiology care with specific expertise in advanced cardiac and vascular care, organ transplants and national research.

Along with using PrimeSuite, CSANT will utilize other components of Greenway's complete physician's infrastructure to enhance practice workflows and create a system by which information can be exchanged seamlessly between the practice's 18 locations. CSANT's main billing office will utilize PrimeEnterprise to provide centralized billing functionality that will enable the main office to aggregate patient data from each practice into a single and secure database from which clinical, financial and administrative information can be compiled and processed.
