Date:10/29/2007

CARROLLTON, Ga., Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Greenway Medical Technologies Inc., a leading provider of integrated electronic health records (EHR), practice management and interoperability functionality, announced today record sales for its first quarter of fiscal year 2008. Greenway(R) reported a sales bookings increase of 64 percent, over the same fiscal period last year. The company has more than 600 practices licensing PrimeSuite(R), its fully- integrated CCHIT Certified EHR solution. Currently, there are nearly 3,000 physicians and 15,000 PrimeSuite users in 43 states and the District of Columbia.

One of the larger sales from the first quarter of FY08 was with Acadiana Women's Health Group, APMC. Acadiana is a 12-provider OB/GYN group in Lafayette, La. and will be deploying PrimeSuite to streamline the clinical, financial and administrative workflow processes of its practice.

"We chose Greenway because it supports both our software and hardware solutions and the fact that PrimeSuite utilizes a single database for both EHR and practice management," said Dr. Francis J. Cardinale of Acadiana Women's Health Group. "Knowing that we only have one source to turn to in time of need was a key factor in our decision making as well as Greenway's commitment to training and support. We are confident Greenway PrimeSuite will successfully take us into the electronic age. Most importantly we think Greenway PrimeSuite will have a positive impact on our practice by improving efficiencies and quality of care.

"I could not be more pleased with the momentum that Greenway has generated in this first quarter," said Tommy Green, chairman and CEO of Greenway Medical Technologies Inc. "With an industry-leading integrated EHR solution, backed by a superior support team and first-class customer service, we have seen our sales numbers increase dramatically. It is definitely an exciting time in the history of our company and we look forward to continued growth and opport
