Greenberg Traurig’s Lori Cohen and Sara Thompson to Speak at American Conference Institute’s Drug & Medical Device Litigation Conference

Lori G. Cohen and Sara K. Thompson, shareholders in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Atlanta office, will speak at the American Conference Institute’s 21st Drug & Medical Device Litigation Conference, taking place in New York Dec. 5-7. Greenberg Traurig is also a Lead Sponsor of the conference.

Cohen, who chairs the firm’s Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Health Care Litigation Practice and the Trial Practice Group, and co-chairs the Atlanta Litigation practice, will moderate the opening GC and CLO Roundtable: “What Keeps Me Up at Night When Faced With a Products Liability Action” on the first Main Conference Day on Dec. 6 at 8:30 a.m. Thompson, a shareholder in the firm’s Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Health Care Litigation Practice, will be part of an Afternoon Breakout Session on “Mock Medical Device Preemption Motion to Dismiss: Formulating a Robust Defense Strategy for Sales Reps in the OR, MDR-based claims, Off-Label and More” on Dec. 6 at 2:30 p.m.

The annual conference brings together more than 400 members of the products liability defense bar with speakers from more than 25 diverse pharmaceutical and medical device companies. It also features panels from top federal and state court judges as well as a panel of U.S. Attorneys and Attorneys General.
