Green Family Foundation Sponsors Alicia Keys' Keep a Child Alive College Student AIDS Summit

NEW YORK, Nov. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- On November 15th, Green Family Foundation (GFF) (www.greenff.org) president Kimberly Green joined Keep a Child Alive (KCA) Co-Founder and Global Ambassador Alicia Keys and KCA Co-Founder and President Leigh Blake as they welcomed 400 student AIDS activists in the second annual KCA College Student AIDS Summit. The presenting sponsor behind the event, GFF joined the student leaders of KCA College to continue the ongoing fight against the pandemic.

During the event, Green introduced Grammy-winning songwriter, philanthropist and keynote speaker Alicia Keys to the students and also participated in "The Stigma Factor," a panel discussion on AIDS. Joining Green on the panel moderated by KCA College Director Kate Otto were noted journalist Jimmie Briggs, Dr. Jeffrey Greene (NYU Medical School), Todd Murray (Hope's Voice International) and Dr. Perry Halkitis (NYU Steinhardt) who discussed the societal challenges that arise in battling the AIDS disease.
