Greater China suppliers set to end tough 2008 with strong buyer activity at Global Sources' Private Sourcing Events

HONG KONG, Dec. 4 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- Dozens of pre-screened Greater China suppliers hope to end the year on a high note meeting top buyers at Global Sources' (Nasdaq: GSOL) December Private Sourcing Events ( http://www.PrivateSourcingEvents.com ) for sanitaryware & plumbing; bathroom & cleaning accessories; computer monitors, TVs & displays; toys; sporting goods; and health & personal care products.

Nineteen buyers with combined annual sales of US$386 billion have confirmed their participation in this month's events. Dates, product categories and locations are:

    -- Dec. 2 : Sanitaryware & Plumbing -- Hangzhou
    -- Dec. 2 : Bathroom & Cleaning Accessories -- Hangzhou
    -- Dec. 4 : Computer Monitors, TVs & Displays -- Shenzhen
    -- Dec. 9 : Toys -- Shenzhen
    -- Dec. 11: Sporting Goods -- Nanjing
    -- Dec. 16: Health & Personal Care Products -- Shanghai
