Special Senior Set to Witness 'Greatest Moment of His Life'

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Jan. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- 

    WHO:        Alfred Bouey, resident of Holley Court Terrace, a Brookdale
                Senior Living independent and assisted living community in
                Oak Park, Ill.

    WHAT:       Bouey has been honored as a winner of his Experience of a
                Lifetime, and is headed to Washington, D.C. to witness and
                take part in the historic Presidential Inauguration of
                Barack Obama.

    WHEN:       Bouey and his family will be in the Washington, D.C. area
                from Jan. 18-21.

                With special thanks to Destination DC, Washington, DC's lead
                tourism and marketing corporation, Bouey and his family will
                observe the swearing-in of Barack Obama and the Inaugural
                Parade from the comfort of the Power Spot Lounge at the
                Ronald Reagan Building & International Trade Center on
                Jan. 20.

    SUMMARY:    "I remember growing up in the south when everything was
                segregated," said Bouey. "I never dreamed this day would
                ever happen in American history."

                "I can recall the days of slavery when my grandfather and
                grandmother were whipped and beaten, and had the scars to
                prove it," said Bouey. "When I saw Barack Obama come out to
                make his acceptance speech, I started crying and never
                stopped. I still don't believe it to this day that he was
                elected President of the United States."

                Bouey won this opportunity through Brookdale's Experiences of
                a Lifetime program. Residents at selected Brookdale Senior
                Living communities nationwide were given the opportunity to
