Dancing Is Universal

Anyone can do it. You'll have fun, tone and shape your body while burning from 300 - 1200 calories per class as you learn Salsa, Hip-Hop, Ballroom, Zumba, Afro-Cuban and Belly Dancing routines. At the end of the 6 weeks, prizes valued at $1500 will be awarded to winners in 3 categories, the most weight lost, the most inches lost and the biggest decrease in BMI (body mass index).

Getting started includes a wellness profile & consultation, a FREE medical pre-screening with our sponsor, MediTech Medical Centers or you may visit your own physician, a suggested natural internal cleanse & detoxification phase and finally a nutritional meal plan that emphasizes low carbs, low fat, high fiber and lots of H2O will set you off on the right path to long term wellness. Wellness seminars are held before each class and an emphasis is placed on sharing your successes as well as your challenges with quality of life issues as you work through the program.

"This program is for people who don't like sweating it out in a gym or with a personal trainer shouting in their ear. Everyone can do it regardless of age, shape, size, race or culture," said Carolyn Lighty, Executive Director of Just Dance Tampa Bay, Inc. "We're poised to impact thousands of people with this easy to follow program and we've already signed up quite a few people. About 10% of them are men and we are pleased to have them join us."
