Gonzaga Online Updates Communications Masters Program To Meet the Needs of Today's Professionals

University announces an addition to its roster of online degree programs

Spokane (PRWEB) October 29, 2008 -- Gonzaga University (www.gonzagaonline.com), an accredited not-for-profit university based in Spokane, has announced the addition of a revised online Master in Communication & Leadership Studies program to its roster of online degree programs, which includes a Master in Organizational Leadership and Master of Science in Nursing. The new Jesuit curriculum was fashioned to address modern communication theory for a global media environment. Its online medium will make the program accessible to students worldwide.

As global perspective becomes a necessary part of most business ventures, cultural immersion and an understanding of ethical communication have also become increasingly valuable. Gonzaga's revised online Master in Communication & Leadership Studies program addresses these needs through a practicum of writing, multimedia and public speaking. "The world is changing; so must our curriculum," explains Heather Crandall, communication program chair at Gonzaga University. "The recent changes in our curriculum allow more elective choices for our students, as well as a stronger foundation of communication course content."
