Gilbert, AZ (PRWEB) June 13, 2013
Gluten Free Calendar™ takes their signature Celebrate Celiac™ event North to the Rockies. On Saturday July 20th from 2-5pm, the community will enjoy mingling with others who are living gluten-free whether due to celiac disease, non-celiac gluten sensitivity or any other reason. Vendors, gluten-free snacks, and a kids fun zone will make this event a real celebration. Title sponsor Udi's Gluten Free will be doing an Udi-Q that will feature Qrunch burgers. Glutino will also act as a title sponsor for the event. Special guests Brian Gansmann, The Gluten Gladiator and author of Defeat Wheat and children's book author Stasie John of The Gluten Glitch will be mingling with guests and doing a book signing at the event. Both live with celiac disease and work diligently to raise celiac awareness. Guests can ask questions to local gluten-free bloggers and advocates as well as learn more from local support group leaders who will be at the event. Kids will enjoy face painting, an art station where they can share how they find ways to Celebrate Celiac™ as well as a special reading of The Gluten Glitch by the author herself.
The event will take place within walking distance of Coors Field at 2900 Fox Street Phoenix, AZ 80202 from 2-5 pm on Saturday July 20, 2013. Taste Guru, the premier gluten-free box of the month club company is the venue sponsor. The first 250 attendees will receive a gift bag to carry their gluten-free goodies. Delight Gluten Free Magazine and Gluten Free Living Magazine will be acting as media sponsors. Both have featured the event in their May/June issues through a full page color ad. Discounted celebration event tickets may be purchased at http://www.glutenfreecalendar.com.
Following the Celebrate Celiac™ community gluten-free event will be the Celiac Awareness Night with the Rockies in which discounted game tickets purchased through Gluten Free Calendar's website will benefit the Center for Celiac Research. "It is our honor to organize these nationwide celiac awareness nights to raise awareness and proceeds, through game tickets sold, for celiac research" said Chandice Probst, Gluten Free Calendar™ Founder.
