Global Security Associates and Global Emergency Management Prepare for the 2010 Hurricane Season

Having the right emergency response team on hand, along with a business contingency plan and a knowledge of how to react, is key to a successful outcome during an emergency event. Global's team of experts will prepare you for the unthinkable as the hurricane season approaches.

New York, New York (PRWEB) -- The official start of the hurricane season begins today with the dire prediction of a very active season of potentially 23 storms to occur in the Atlantic Basin. Preparing for business continuity, in the event a company or organization needs to face one or several of the storms predicted, begins by having a plan. Global Security Associates and Global Emergency Management have been very active during the winter months preparing for what experts say will be one of the most active hurricane seasons.

“With the official start of hurricane season our customers begin to pay more attention to weather forecasts and currents moving off of Western Africa as well as low pressure formation in the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico,” explains William McGuire, President and CEO of Global. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) experts predict three to seven of these storms, could be major hurricanes reaching upwards to category 5. Other weather centers concur.
