Global Sales Veteran Jack McGovern Joins MediKeeper
Date:1/24/2008

SAN DIEGO, Jan. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- MediKeeper (http://www.medikeeper.com), a leading provider of technology solutions for the health and wellness industry, today announced its appointment of global sales veteran Jack McGovern as Senior VP/Sales to lead expansion of strategic sales initiatives.

MediKeeper's comprehensive suite of customizable, patient-centered tools and content empowers individuals to control their own health and wellness. Its Personal Health Record (PHR) helps improve the quality of health care while reducing costs for the individual and payer. MediKeeper was recently rated one of the top two privately owned PHR companies in the United States.

McGovern's move caps 15 years of increasingly successful sales efforts spanning multiple industries. His most recent success was founding, achieving exponential sales growth, and selling an online financial products and services company.

Before that endeavor he achieved record sales growth while reducing operating expenses at Realtor.com. Beyond his tremendous sales performance, he designed and implemented the sales coaching standards still used in the company today. Mr. McGovern's contributions helped advance Realtor.com to the position as the largest online real estate sales and marketing destination.

McGovern held several key sales and senior-level positions with both new and established companies, and has a consistent record of enhancing strategic planning, streamlining processes, and exceeding sales targets.

"MediKeeper's entering an exciting expansion phase. Jack's record of driving sustained growth across global markets makes him the ideal choice to lead our sales efforts," says MediKeeper CEO Dr. Bruce Tarzy. "His appointment reflects MediKeeper's ambition to remain a market leader in providing innovative health and wellness technology solutions."
