Conference Call to Follow Release

DENVER, May 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Global Med Technologies(R), Inc. ("Global Med" or the "Company") (OTC Bulletin Board: GLOB), an international healthcare information technology company, will report its first quarter financial results on Friday, May 15, 2009, in a pre-market press release. The Company will host a conference call at 11:00 a.m. Eastern on the same day.

Dr. Mick Ruxin, Chief Executive Officer, Tom Marcinek, President and Chief Operating Officer, and Karen Davis, Chief Financial Officer, will discuss the first quarter financial results, as well as major company developments, and will be available to answer questions. The conference call will be held on May 15, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern.
