Global Food Protection Institute to Exhibit at Institute of Food Technologists' Food Expo

Public interest in the quality of food and food safety is on the rise, and public concern over an increasing number of food recalls is making the news daily. The Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) will hold the IFT Annual Meeting & Food Expo at McCormick Place South in Chicago from July 13 to July 16. It is the largest annual food science forum and exposition in the world.

The IFT Annual Meeting & Food Expo is a gathering of more than 20,000 professionals involved in the science and business of food, including industry, academia, and government. The expo addresses a variety of topics across the food sector, including food protection.

Host of CNN’s Fareed Zakaria GPS, Editor-at-Large of TIME, and Washington Post columnist, Dr. Fareed Zakaria is keynote speaker for the event.

Joan Bowman, Vice President of External Affairs, and staff from the Global Food Protection Institute (GFPI) and the International Food Protection Training Institute will exhibit on the organizations’ programs and training systems at Booth #3291.Visitors to the booth may enter to win a pair of QuietComfort® 15 Acoustic Noise Cancelling® headphones.
