Glide Health Corporation and Integrated Medical Professionals Announce Partnership to Deploy the Glide Mobile Health Platform to Over One Million Patients and Over 100 Physicians in 50 Locations

NEW YORK, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- TechCrunch50 2009 Finalist Glide Health Corporation (GHC) and Integrated Medical Professionals, PLLC (IMP) announced today a partnership to deploy the Glide Health mobile medical record platform. IMP is the largest multispecialty group practice in the United States, with over 100 physicians in nearly 50 locations, caring for over one million patients.

Glide Health is the complete mobile desktop solution for patients, doctors and other health care professionals to access and manage patient health care information from their mobile devices and to collaboratively provide and receive comprehensive patient care from virtually any location regardless of software system or type of device. Glide Health syncs with electronic medical record platforms to provide patients and health care professionals with up-to-date access to medical records on Android, Blackberry, iPhone, Palm Pre, Symbian and Windows Mobile devices as well as on Windows, Mac, Linux and Solaris desktops, allowing for a total web based solution.

Patients can also enter their own medical history as well as input text and audio dictation regarding their conditions and symptoms enabling health care professionals to monitor their patients' progress on an ongoing basis. Glide Health automatically maintains a digital transcript of all medical details and professional interactions, improving compliance and documentation. Glide Health also helps to ensure proper health care for patients when traveling by providing comprehensive mobile health records securely accessible from virtually any mobile phone.

"Glide Health will greatly increase mobile access to patient data internally at IMP and data compatibility between IMP and the health care ecosystem," said Deepak A. Kapoor, MD, Chairman and CEO of IMP. "Glide Health creates compatibility and integration between health information management systems and solves the problem of caregivers missing pieces of a patient's medical history."

"We are excited to work together with IMP to roll out the Glide Health platform to physicians and patients," said Glide Health CEO, Donald Leka. "Glide Health's cross platform capabilities with support for virtually all mobile phones and desktops as well as UMPCs, MIDs and Netbooks, virtually eliminates the need to standardize on certain platforms and devices leveraging health care professionals' and patients' existing hardware. The platform flexibility of the Glide Health solution makes it possible to quickly and inexpensively roll out the service to group practices, hospitals and patients providing an immediate benefit to all."
