Give the Gift of More Home Runs for the Holidays, AXE Bat by Baden Sports Delivers More Hits; Introduces New Avenge Series for 2014
Date:8/4/2013

RENTON, Washington (PRWEB) August 04, 2013

Introduced in 2012, it is the first non-round handle bat approved by Major League Baseball. More than 50 college sports teams have made the switch to the Axe bat because it’s simply a better bat. “Our hitters are thrilled with the performance of the Axe Bat,” says Division I Head Coach of University of Memphis Daron Schoenrock. “Our hitters feel Axe bats have more barrel control, create a more direct path through the hitting zone and the power performance matches or exceeds any bat on the market.”

The best bat is now even better for 2014 with the new Axe Avenge™ bat series for adult, senior youth and youth baseball, as well as slowpitch and girl’s fastpitch. It all begins with its patented handle design (shown left). “With a handle made to fit your hands, the Axe bat gives you an edge over the competition,” says Hugh Tompkins, Axe designer, Baden Sports, Inc. “It puts the handle in your fingertips, keeps you on a consistent swing plane and gives the batter better power, bat speed and a freer swing. The result is more hits and farther hits.”

The Avenge baseball bats L140A (shown below), L141A and L142A, feature the patented Axe handle, 2-piece composite barrel construction with an extra-long barrel profile for maximum sweet spot. All are lightweight for increased swing speed and feature the Engineered Hitting Zone for one-sided hitting.

Avenge Fastpitch (Pro-Balance) L150A bat (shown below) has all of the features as in the Axe baseball bats and is also balanced with enough end-load for greater mass at contact.

The Avenge Slowpitch USSSA L154A (shown below top) and L155A (shown below bottom) both have an improved Plus-Plus* Composite barrel and is tuned to a maximum 1.20 BPF performance.

Axe bats are available now on http://www.axebat.com for all levels
