Gilbert Hospital Turns Two
Date:2/4/2008

GILBERT, Ariz., Feb. 4 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Gilbert Hospital is celebrating its second anniversary. Gilbert's first hospital opened on February 2, 2006 and has since treated more than 93,000 patients and has a staff exceeding 350. Pledging a strong commitment to the community by guaranteeing emergency room wait times of less than 31 minutes, Gilbert Hospital has become the leader in innovative care by meeting this pledge more than 98.5 percent of the time. "There is simply no excuse for patients to wait extended periods of time for treatment in any emergency room," stated Dr. Tim Johns, Gilbert Hospital Founder and Medical Director. "Our entire team here at Gilbert Hospital goes to great lengths to make sure our patients have swift, accurate and compassionate care...regardless of their situation," continued Dr. Johns.

Gilbert Hospital opened with much anticipation in the fast growing southeast valley. Once opened, expansion in building size, capacity, beds and staff has kept Gilbert Hospital at the forefront of providing the best service in the most time efficient manner in the entire valley. Further growth is also on the horizon with a 200,000 square foot, 106-bed expansion expected to break ground in March.

Gilbert Hospital's two-year anniversary celebration is a week long series (Feb. 4 through Feb. 8) of cook-outs, social events and tours with members of the staff including senior management. Photo opportunities are also available.
