Gilbert Hospital Sponsors Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce Benefit
Date:10/9/2008

GILBERT, Ariz., Oct. 9 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Gilbert Hospital was a proud sponsor of the 6th Annual Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce Golf-A-Thon held this year at the Encanterra Golf Club. This year, the event not only helped the Chamber, it also benefited Boy Scout Troop 738 which is also based in Queen Creek.

"Any time we can sponsor an event like this, with our neighbors and the Chamber, it shows our commitment to the area," stated David Wanger, CEO of Gilbert Hospital. "This is part of our effort to strategically partner with the Chamber and integrate into the area," continued Wanger.

The event featured many golfers from various businesses around the Queen Creek area. Set at the private Encanterra Golf club, a course designed by Ryder Cup Captain Tom Lehman, participants competed in areas such as longest drive, closest to the pin and best score. A plated lunch was served and awards; information regarding the Chamber was discussed after the event.

"We are looking forward to continued partnership opportunities with the great folks at the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce. Gilbert Hospital is truly honored to participate in events just like this," said Wanger.
