GetWellNetwork Taps High-Tech Veteran Michele Perry as Chief Operating Officer

BETHESDA, Md., Nov. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- GetWellNetwork, Inc. today announced the appointment of Michele Perry as chief operating officer. Ms. Perry, an experienced high-tech leader and market strategist, will help lead the company to a new level of growth and deliver on the promise of improving patient care through its flagship Interactive Patient Care solution. Among her priorities, Ms. Perry will focus on GetWellNetwork's leadership position in shaping the rapidly expanding digital health market.

Ms. Perry brings a proven track record of three successful IPOs and demonstrated success in enterprise class systems, strategic planning and business-to-business marketing. Prior to joining GetWellNetwork, Ms. Perry served as chief marketing officer for Sourcefire, Inc., where she drove the company's marketing, branding and product management initiatives. She helped grow the company from $9 million to $76 million in revenue during her tenure, to a market cap of over $550 million.

Ms. Perry has been recognized by the Northern Virginia Tech Council with the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007. She holds a BS from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She serves on the advisory boards for technology companies, including Eloqua and Zenoss, and is a member of the UMBC Research Park Board.
