at the center of their own care experience. The system turns the television in the patient room into an interactive resource during a hospital stay. By using a wireless keyboard, touch screen or handheld device, patients can interact with the system to access valuable education, communication and entertainment tools directly at the bedside. "By leveraging the GetWellNetwork system to facilitate the DAISY Award program, it is easy for us to provide these nurses the recognition and appreciation they truly deserve."

"As a pioneer in the IPC space, GetWellNetwork is dedicated to giving patients a voice and empowering them as an active participant in the healthcare process," said Michael O'Neil, Jr., founder and CEO of GetWellNetwork, Inc. "This partnership with the DAISY Foundation provides patients with the opportunity to speak their mind about their care experience and pay tribute to the nurses that have made a difference in their lives."
