package also includes content that was produced by GetWellNetwork for the exclusive use of GetWellNetwork clients. The GetWellNetwork Regulations Package contains more than 60 video titles and can be licensed by GetWellNetwork client hospitals. The videos are then available to patients and families through the GetWellNetwork PatientLife System(R) at the bedside.

"Hospitals are struggling to find effective and efficient ways to address the growing number of regulations that are placed on them," said Heather Townsend, director of patient education at GetWellNetwork, Inc. "Over the last nine months, GetWellNetwork has collaborated with our clients and content partners to develop this package of videos that will address nearly 100 percent of the current requirements that can be impacted by patient education."

Through the GetWellNetwork PatientLife System, patients are encouraged to watch informative multimedia videos on topics that address the relevant regulations. The patent-pending technology delivers an alert to the patient's television monitor that requests the patient to watch the video(s). The patient's response can then be recorded in the hospital's documentation system to complete the patient's record and reported to the regulation organization.
