George T. Shaheen Joins Board of Directors at Univita Health

Former CEO of Andersen Consulting and Siebel Systems involved with new independent aging company

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., April 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Univita Health, a new company aimed at promoting and supporting a home-centered approach to independent aging, today announced the election of George T. Shaheen as a member of the company's Board of Directors.

"We couldn't be more excited that George has accepted a position on our Board and is joining us on our mission to help people live and age with independence," said Hugh Lytle, President and Chief Executive Officer of Univita. "As someone who has led a number of companies with global operations, he brings a wealth of skills and experience and his involvement will enhance the work of our board as we continue to build Univita into a great company."

Mr. Shaheen is currently the Chairman and CEO of Entity Labs, the provider of a technology solution that enables end users to create and share sophisticated computer applications. He was the Chief Executive Officer of Siebel Systems, Inc. from April 2005 to January 2006. He was the Chief Executive Officer and Global Managing Partner of Andersen Consulting, which later became Accenture, from 1989-1999. He then became the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Webvan Group, Inc. from 1999-2001. Mr. Shaheen serves on the boards of NetApp, PRA International, 24/7 Customer, Voxify and newScale. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Marcus & Millichap Company and he is an advisor to the Boston Consulting Group. He has served as an IT Governor of the World Economic Forum and he is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He has also served on the Board of Trustees of Bradley University. Mr. Shaheen received a BS degree and an MBA from Bradley University.
