About San Diego Breath of Hope Lung Cancer Walk:
The San Diego Breath of Hope Lung Cancer Walk is the premiere lung cancer event/walk in Southern California. The event was founded in 2009 by a group of local lung cancer survivors in San Diego, who were once strangers to each other, yet were brought together by the common bond of battling lung cancer. Held at the Cancer Survivors Park in Downtown San Diego, this annual 5K walk raises awareness and funds to support Lung Cancer Alliance's unique mission: leading the movement to reverse decades of stigma and neglect by empowering patients, elevating awareness and changing health policy.
