GenVault's GenSolve(TM) Reagents Enable State-of-the-Art Genomic Analysis of Dried Blood Spots

"GenSolve(TM) serves to enable highly efficient recovery of DNA from very precious neonatal blood samples that are available in limited supply and archived for long periods in a dry state. Of major significance is the fact that DNA recovered by GenSolve(TM) is suitable for downstream analysis on state-of-the-art technology, allowing us to capitalize on the resources we have to facilitate population scale studies", said Professor Gary Shaw of the Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University Medical School.

GenSolve(TM) recovers DNA from blood samples, collected and stored dry on a range of paper matrices (Guthrie cards, FTA paper and GenPlates(TM)), in a double stranded and non-denatured form which exhibits no fragmentation up to 40kb.
