Collaborative research revenues for the second quarter of 2009 were $2.2 million, compared to $4.7 million in the prior year period, a decrease of 53%. This decrease resulted mainly from $2.7 million of previously deferred milestone revenue that the Company recognized in the prior year period based on the termination of its collaboration with 3M regarding healthcare-associated infections.
