Gen-Probe Announces Webcast of First Quarter 2008 Earnings Conference Call

SAN DIEGO, April 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Gen-Probe Incorporated (Nasdaq: GPRO) announced today that the Company will release its first quarter 2008 financial results on Monday, April 28, 2008 at approximately 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET). The announcement will be followed by a conference call at 4:30 p.m. ET. Henry L. Nordhoff, chairman and chief executive officer, and Herm Rosenman, senior vice president, finance, and chief financial officer, will host the call.

The conference call will be webcast live and may be accessed on the investors section of the Company's web site at http://www.gen-probe.com. An archived version of the webcast will be available on the same web site for at least 90 days. A telephone replay also will be available for 24 hours after the call ends.
