Date:6/16/2013

London (PRWEB) June 17, 2013

Losing a loved one always brings with it pain and moments of weakness. But death is a reality that one must eventually face and learn to accept. In his new book, When You’re Gone: Seeking Closure After the Passing of a Loved One, Gaster Sharpley encourages those struggling with the agony of loss to join him on a journey of complete healing and acceptance.

When You’re Gone is rooted on Sharpley’s personal journey through grief yet its application is practical and universal. The author shares that it was the death of his mother that inspired him to work on it. The event, although painful, was a significant experience that changed his outlook on life. He recalls,

“Through my mother’s death, I was able to see life differently and appreciate those around me while they are alive.”

Sharpley reflects on the painful circumstance, giving voice to the darkness that comes during times of vulnerability and emotional trauma but he does not dwell on it. Rather, he puts the book’s focus on the lessons he learned and how these can be used as a foundation for coping and moving towards total recovery after the loss of a loved one.

“The personal stories and truths are a supporting message to the main message in the lessons for the living based on the passing of a loved one,” he shares.

Honest, compassionate and insightful, When You’re Gone is a transformative journey that will comfort the heart, uplift the spirit and nourish the soul.
