Date:9/14/2013

(PRWEB) September 14, 2013

By Katrina Ferguson-- In a recently published article by technology blog Gadgets Made Simple, high powered and highly precise gadgets from AMG Services and Bolting Solutions are featured to highlight the depth of technology that goes in to creating modern marvels such as bridges, oil rigs and wind farms. The article describes the importance of technologically impressive tools like precision torque wrenches in the building of large structure and machines, and points out that the wrenches themselves are produced in highly advanced manufacturing facilities.

"Basically, behind every impressive technological achievement is another very impressive piece of technology," said Dan Lewis, an editor of Gadgets Made Simple, "That's the basic idea that we really want our readers to grasp in this article."

Dan went on to point out how the site's most recent article illustrates that the goal established in the site's title, Gadgets Made Simple, isn't always possible in the modern world.

"It's nice to think that if you take anything, like a car for example, you can break it down in to some very simple and easy to understand components," said Dan Lewis, "At Gadgets Made Simple we're able to do that quite a bit and our readers really enjoy the articles that come out of that process, but when you're dealing with modern day marvels, it turns out that everywhere in the process, from a working wind turbine all the way back to an engineer's blueprint, the whole process is very high tech."

The company featured in the recent article, AMG Services & Bolting Solutions, distributes hydraulic torque wrenches manufactured by Torc LLC. The article gives readers some background in to the purpose and use of torque wrenches, the range of applications in which high powered torque wrenches are critical, and the variation in available precision torque tools.

"It was a fascinating piece to work on for two reasons," said editor Dan Lewis, "On one level, the tools themselves really are amazing gadgets... to see the tools that we work with today versus one hundred years ago is incredible. On another level, it's really fun to dig into some technology and see what other impressive technology is behind it making things possible."

Editors of the Gadgets Made Simple commented that the newly published article fits well into the site's overall mission to raise awareness for amazing technology and to broaden the minds of readers.
