GNAX/AtlantaNAP Announces Newest Client, Health Information Designs

ATLANTA, May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- AtlantaNAP ( ), a premier co-location facility, today announced its newest client, Health Information Designs.

As a strategic initiative to consolidate their internal data centers into closer proximity coupled with a need for a true Tier III facility, Health Information Designs will use AtlantaNAP to provide a primary data center facility for its core operations. The facility will host HID's relational pharmacy and medical claims database, which provides integrated access to all types of healthcare claims data. As it is continually updated as each client's fiscal agent acquires claims from dispensing pharmacies and providers, finding a secure and scalable facility was instrumental in the decision to choose AtlantaNAP.

"Health Information Designs is committed to providing the highest levels of security and service for our clients," said Bill Mixon, President and CEO. "We believe that GNAX/AtlantaNAP will be an important part of that commitment for many years to come."

President Jeff Hinkle is delighted to have Health Information Designs as a customer. "We are excited that the principals of HID see the advantages of our facility and our organization and have entrusted their primary operations to us," said Hinkle. "Health Information Designs is a leader in 17 states in working with Medicaid Agencies, and they manage, monitor or administer more than one-quarter of the nations Medicaid budget. We're thrilled that we have the opportunity to work with a such leader in their field and that yet another leading medical organization has chosen GNAX for their needs. As members of HIMSS, we are committed to being a leader in hosted infrastructure to the medical community."
