Date:10/2/2013

Battle Creek, MI (PRWEB) October 02, 2013

The Global Food Protection Institute (GFPI) today launched a monthly video series called Take 5 with GFPI.

The series consists of brief 5-10 minute interviews with recognized leaders on pressing issues in food protection. A new interview will be released each month.

The first episode features Dr. Julia Bradsher, President and CEO of the Global Food Protection Institute, and Dr. David Acheson, Founder and CEO of The Acheson Group, discussing international issues in food safety.

“At GFPI we work with public and private stakeholders to advance training, technologies, and convene symposia to exchange ideas about food protection,” said Joan Bowman, Vice President of External Affairs at GFPI. “We're at the table with top experts in the field and are now extending the conversation to the food safety community.”

The video series is available on GFPI’s web-based Knowledge Center at http://www.gfpi.org/take-5-video-series.
