GE Healthcare Extends Leading Web-Based Imaging Solutions to Asia

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, Feb. 27 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- GE Healthcare, a leading provider of information technology, today unveiled a suite of Centricity solutions targeted for hospitals and outpatient imaging centers. Building on Centricity's business process and advanced clinical capabilities, the suite provides the robust Web-based accessibility of IntegradWeb(R) solutions through the acquisition from Dynamic Imaging.

Centricity PACS-IW received the prestigious Best in KLAS - PACS award in the end-of-year Top 20 Best in KLAS Awards-Software and Professional Services Report (December 2008). For nearly three years, Centricity PACS-IW has garnered the best User Satisfaction Composite Rating, making it eleven consecutive quarters at #1! In both cases the rankings reflect current Centricity PACS-IW user opinion on a range of technical, service and business criteria.

Centricity PACS IW allows the radiologist to view images on any PC with regular monitors but for diagnosis purposes, GE recommends Barco's Coronis 6MP monitors due to their impressive image quality, accuracy offering two screens together with equal luminance, automatic calibration and broad usability.
