Date:3/15/2010

The latest release brings many new features, as well as enhancements for our growing disability community making Speak it! the ultimate text to speech solution in the App Store

(PRWEB) March 15, 2010 -- Future Apps announces today the release of Speak it! 2.0, a major update to the best selling text to speech app in the App Store. The update introduces many new enhancements and user requested features that makes Speak it! the ultimate text to speech solution on the iPhone platform.

Speak it! allows users to easily play back text with the highest quality and most natural sounding voices available anywhere, on a device that fits in your pocket. Users can copy email, word documents, web articles, and much more into Speak it!, and have it all read back to you with a touch of a button. New features include a large list of voices available for download within the App’s new Speak it! Store. The list of over 20 new voices includes additional American and British voices, as well as new French, German, Italian and Spanish voices. Users can now also create and email sound files of the speech within the app; a heavily requested feature we are happy to introduce with this update.

“We have been incredibly pleased with the success of our text to speech app in the App Store over the past year,” said John Stefanopoulos, Founder and President of Future Apps. “Speak it! started off as a simple phone call prank app, and has turned into a professional TTS app across a wide range of applications. Our team has been especially moved by our growing disability community, and the numerous success stories we have received. Using just an iPhone or iPod touch and our App, many speech disabled users have been able to restore communication with their loved ones and friends in a simple and cost effective way. We are very excited to announce new features such as user adjustable font size and landscape mode catered to this community.”

Speak it! 2.0 is available immediately on the iTunes App store for an incredible price of just $1.99. The update is free for existing users. Speak it! now supports French, German, Italian, and Spanish languages.
