Further Acquisition for (London Based) Schofield Health...( CHICAGO and LONDON Jan. 23 /- Sch...),Health

CHICAGO and LONDON, Jan. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Schofield Healthcare Media Ltd (SHML), a division of Schofield Media Europe Ltd, announced on the 16th January that it has acquired Medical Education Partnership Ltd (MEP).

MEP was set up by Jane Jones in 1997 as the publishing and medical wing of GCI Healthcare. Following a management buy-out in June 2002, it established itself as an independent medical education company specialising in effective, targeted and intelligent medical communications.

The company portfolio includes a number of key educational resources for health care professionals in print, online and in person. MEP employs a professional team of highly-skilled people with extensive publishing and clinical experience and an advisory board of leading clinical experts, who will continue to work with the company. The sale of the company follows Jane's decision to retire at the end of this month.

This transaction represents the 8th acquisition by Schofield Media Group LLC in three years.
