3. Eco-friendly. Cremation is a "greener" option compared to a full burial because it does not include embalming processes or space within the earth that must be maintained in perpetuity. As people become more eco-conscious in their daily lives, it makes sense that they would pursue burial options that reflect the values they held while living.
