Fund-Raiser for Henry Ford Hospital's Stroke Program

DETROIT, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Henry Ford Hospital is hosting a wine tasting event to raise funds for its stroke program, 7 - 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16 at the Detroit Yacht Club.

The event is sponsored by the hospital's department of Neurology and Cost Plus Wines of Eastern Market.

The evening will include light dinner fare and 50+ wines from around the world.

The event helps support functions for stroke education and the annual Stroke Retreat Camp for stroke survivors, caregivers and family members, sponsored by Henry Ford Health System and co-sponsored by the American Stroke Association. The camp takes place each summer at Camp Cavell, YWCA Camp on Lake Huron. Dates for 2008 are July 25 - 27.
