Date:12/29/2008

REDONDO BEACH, Calif., Dec. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Function Drinks announced today the launch of their "New Year's Detox Kit" to be offered exclusively in Whole Foods Markets nationwide starting December 30th. The seasonal 4-pack will include two flavors of their popular physician-created drink, Function: Urban Detox.

"Function: Urban Detox is a fun and accessible way to support your body through the rigors of the holiday season," says Dr. Alex Hughes, Co-Founder & President of Function Drinks. "Our proprietary formula helps address many of the side-effects related to excess alcohol consumption."

"A Function: Urban Detox kit has been on the top of our customer request list so we are thrilled to launch this product with Whole Foods Markets," said Dayton Miller, Co-Founder, Chairman & CEO of Function Drinks. "The benefits of Function: Urban Detox make it the perfect complement to any New Year's celebration."

The New Year's Detox Kits will include two 16.9oz bottles of Function: Urban Detox, Citrus Prickly Pear and two Function: Urban Detox, Goji Berry, which was launched earlier this year. Function: Urban Detox works to cleanse the lungs and sinuses of airborne particulate pollution and address hangover physiology. The proprietary formula contains a powerful combination of prickly pear extract and the super-antioxidant, N-acetyl cysteine, to remove toxins from your liver and evict free radicals from your lungs and sinuses.
