Fun in the Florida Sun: Kendalltown Homeowners Association Inc. Expands Outdoor Recreation with American Parks Company™

(PRWEB) July 22, 2014

The park is the heart of a community. That’s why at the Kendalltown Homeowners Association, Inc., made a recent investment in outdoor recreation and fun for its residential community with the purchase of playground equipment from American Parks Company™.

The community of Kendalltown is located in beautiful Miami Florida, and is a 475-unit community that was established in the 1970s. The maturity of the surrounding landscape has created a tropical paradise with lush shade trees, green-edged walking and running paths, and the beautiful palm trees you would expect from an estate in Florida. The community is also bordered by a picturesque lake.

The amenities at Kendalltown feature a two-story clubhouse which provides a billiards room, a party room, library, and a fireside lounge. The clubhouse also boasts a spa and well equipped fitness center for residents, including tennis courts and more. Kendalltown is a community that values both indoor and outdoor recreation for a mixed community of single professionals and families to retirees.

The Kendalltown Homeowners Association chose the ‘Apple a Day’ structure from American Parks Company™ for their playground, which features engaging activities for up to thirty (30) children aged 5-12 years.

The Apple a Day playground structure features two fun slides including an exciting 5’4” Single Speedway Slide which provides a fast (but safe) trip to the bottom. The square roof provides partial UV protection from the hot Florida sun. The Wiggle Wave Climber and Fireman’s Pole provide physically challenging fun on this intuitively designed commercial playground structure. The ‘Apple a Day’ structure is also ADA accessible for children with special mobility requirements.

The Kendalltown Homeowners Association augmented their commercial playground structure with an independent play piece, electing a 5” Arched Swing Frame, which provides two swings for additional excitement.
