Facility in Sherman Will Set Key Industry Records

CARROLLTON, Texas, Sept. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Fry Construction, a specialist in the precision construction of medical imaging facilities, has announced it has begun construction of a breakthrough facility in the medical imaging arena. The project, in Sherman, Texas, represents several firsts of its kind.

Located at 2622 US Highway 75 North, Sherman, Texas, it is the first joint venture between multiple hospitals and radiology groups in the North Texas area. In this project, Sherman Radiology Associates and Radiology Associates of Denison collaborated with Wilson N. Jones Hospital and Texoma Medical Center to form Advanced Medical Imaging of North Texas, LP. An entity formed by the radiology groups will manage the facility and provide professional radiology services at the Center.

The facility will be the first free-standing, all-digital outpatient imaging center in the area, featuring cutting-edge 3T MRI technology as well as 64 detector CT technology, digital radiography, fluoroscopy and ultrasound.

The center will be designed with a natural, hill country look and feel, a decidedly refreshing innovation versus the traditional "medical clinic" look.
