Frost & Sullivan to Present the 2008 Excellence in Healthcare Innovation Awards

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Oct. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Frost & Sullivan is pleased to announce that the firm will be naming the recipients of its 2008 Excellence in Healthcare Innovation Awards. The Awards will be announced during a banquet that will take place on November 12, 2008 in San Antonio, Texas.

The Healthcare Innovation Awards are given to companies that have made a significant contribution to the delivery and management of healthcare. Such companies have shown success at meeting the needs of patients and other stakeholders in the healthcare industry by championing treatments, while striving for pioneering products, practices, technology, and ideas.

The evening will feature pre- and post-networking opportunities, as healthcare industry thought leaders, community directors, and senior managers unite to applaud and celebrate each others' efforts to transform the industry. Frost & Sullivan will recognize companies, products, processes, and executives that have achieved world-class performance within their segment of the healthcare industry. Throughout the evening, Frost & Sullivan will honor Award recipients for demonstrating excellence and innovation in such areas as cardiovascular devices, medical imaging informatics, personalized medicine, neurology, and oncology, among other areas.
