Facilitating Knowledge Sharing among Physicians

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Based on its recent analysis of the healthcare IT market, Frost & Sullivan recognizes Infor-Med, Inc. with the 2008 North American Frost & Sullivan Award for Technology Innovation for its novel Praxis(R) Electronic Medical Records (EMR) version 4, featuring the Praxis(R) EMR Knowledge Exchanger.

The Praxis(R) EMR system employs a unique technology that does not include inherently limiting templates, so it provides enhanced documentation and legal protection of a patient's medical history because the physician enters the data and all instructions in his/her own words.

Although templates do allow for quick and easy documentation, they restrict the physician from expressing the details that will maintain the integrity of the physician's interaction with each patient. Infor-Med's Praxis(R) EMR is a unique template-free solution that eliminates the restrictions of templates while matching their ease and speed of use. The Praxis(R) version 4 Knowledge Exc
