CLEVELAND, Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Franklin & Seidelmann Subspecialty Radiology (F&S) announces that it has expanded its subspecialty teleradiology business model to now offer final and preliminary night time interpretations via its acquisition of Apex Radiology, Coral Springs, FL.
With the acquisition, F&S becomes the industry's largest teleradiology provider of final reports, as well as the largest subspecialty teleradiology provider. The company's annual case volume is expected to be more than 800,000 final reports.
F&S provides clients around the country with a cost-effective strategy and flexible options to access subspecialty radiology expertise in the areas of musculoskeletal, neuroradiology, body, cardiac, oncological, pediatric and breast MR imaging. The Apex acquisition adds considerable strength and resources to F&S, including the addition of 25 radiologists who provide night time final and preliminary interpretations to bring its total radiologist count to more than 100. F&S will now provide its 250 clients with a combination of full-service teleradiology coverage and the subspecialty radiology expertise foundation that F&S was built upon.
