Franck's Compounding Lab Purchases Wisconsin Pharmacy

OCALA, Fla., Dec. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Franck's Compounding Lab of Ocala, Florida announced today the acquisition of Island Pharmacy Services in Woodruff, Wisconsin. Island Pharmacy owners, Randy Reek and Dave Rice, R.Ph., have decided to pursue other personal interests. Selling their pharmacy to Franck's Compounding Lab was based on a business decision made to ensure the continuance of high quality prescriptions and customer service. "The purchase of Island Pharmacy adds a tremendous opportunity for us to expand our full service veterinary compounding business," said Paul Franck, R.Ph., Owner and CEO of Franck's Pharmacy.

This buyout will add about 8,000 patients and 4,000 prescribing veterinarians to the Florida based compounding lab. Franck's Compounding Lab currently employs over 75 people and has pharmacists licensed to compound prescriptions nationwide in all states requiring licensure.
