Southfield, Michigan (PRWEB) September 30, 2013

Sommers Schwartz, P.C. is proud to announce that four of the firm’s attorneys have been selected to the 2013 list of Rising Stars. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.

The Sommers Schwartz attorneys listed among the 2013 Michigan Rising Stars are:

Lisa M. Esser-Weidenfeller
Tad T. Roumayah
Kevin J. Stoops
Jesse L. Young

Roumayah, Stoops and Young practice in a variety of areas at Sommers Schwartz focused on class action, employment litigation, commercial law and intellectual property. Esser-Weidenfeller’s practice is focused on medical malpractice and personal injury.

In order to be considered for a Rising Star award, the practicing attorney must be under the age of 40 or practicing for 10 years or less.

Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. The result is a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys.
