Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea Goes All Out to Welcome Couples This Fall

Sam Wilhelm is totally animated as he describes how Four Seasons Resort Maui is going all out this fall to give couples an experience of a lifetime. "Couples rule, that's our motto, so we've put the focus on activities and special services tailored to twosomes of all ages and interests," says the director of the concierge team. Best of all, he points out that the weather is great during the fall months and guests can take advantage of the resort's special value rates—added to which there is no resort fee.

"Each year, we work hard to develop the best possible couples experience for our guests. This year, we challenged our expert concierge staff to up their game and they did. We will be offering 20 plus sure-fire activities to make memories that will last a lifetime," says Mark Simon, Four Season Resort Maui's marketing director. "And, most all of the activities are complimentary." The program begins September first and lasts through the end of November.

For active couples, there are opportunities to snorkel in crystal-clear waters looking at exotic tropical fish and Hawaiian green sea turtles, hike through the enchanting bamboo forest, hit the water with expert outrigger canoe guides, go paddle boarding—one of Maui's most popular sports—or kayak the scenic south shore.

For those who are attracted to the culinary arts, there are cooking demonstrations led by Master Executive Chef Roger Stettler, the resort's award-winning chef. Guests learn to mix the resort's signature libations—Smile, Hana Haze, Blueberry Mojitos—from the charismatic-teaching bartenders. Or they unite with other beer lovers every Thursday through Saturday in September, with tastings of locally produced handcrafted brews. And, of course, the resort's three
