Mail Service and Specialty Pharmacy programs expand URAC's Pharmacy Quality Management(SM) Initiative
WASHINGTON, Oct. 28 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- URAC announced that four companies have achieved accreditation for the new specialty and mail programs under its Pharmacy Quality Management(SM) initiative.

URAC offers the only third-party, voluntary accreditation program of this scope for the pharmacy benefit management and prescription services industries. All standards within this suite of programs were developed by URAC's Pharmacy Advisory Committee, which includes a wide range of stakeholders: employers, consumers, pharmacy consultants, health plans, retail pharmacy, pharmacy benefits management organizations, pharmacy professional organizations, labor, and large public purchasing groups.
The companies to achieve accreditation are:

Several companies are in process to receive accreditation under URAC's
Mail Service or Specialty Pharmacy programs and will undergo review now
that the standards are finalized. Those companies are:
