Foundation Radiology Group Named Pittsburgh Tech 50 Finalist for Fifth Consecutive Year
Date:8/27/2013

Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) August 27, 2013

Foundation Radiology Group, the premier provider of diagnostic imaging services for community hospitals, today announced that the Pittsburgh Technology Council named it a Tech 50 Awards Finalist for the fifth uninterrupted year.

Previously, Foundation Radiology Group was nominated as a Rising Star and CEO of the Year in 2009, and in the Life Sciences Category in 2010, 2011, and 2012.

“We are very excited to be recognized again by the Pittsburgh Technology Council. There are so many innovative health care companies in the Pittsburgh region and we are honored to be among those included,” said Tom Skelton, CEO of Foundation Radiology Group. “Achieving these awards for five years in a row reflects our employee’s commitment to providing outstanding service and delivering on our mission to revolutionize the radiology practice in community healthcare settings.”

The Pittsburgh Technology Council Tech 50 recognizes local companies that successfully integrate technology into their businesses in a variety of categories. Foundation Radiology Group is one of seven finalists in the Life Sciences category. Companies in this area improve our health and environment. Candidates deliver medical equipment; pharmaceuticals; health services; and biomedical, agricultural and environmental products and services.

The winners in each category are set to be announced on October 10, 2013 at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh.

Foundation Radiology Group provides expanded subspecialty radiology services to community based hospitals that previously may have only been able to provide a limited scope of these services.

An unparalleled level of service and standardized process for delivery of care makes Foundation Radiology Group unique to the industry. Foundation Radiology Group has moved radiology from the “basement” to a forward thinking, frontward facing “elegant” model that delivers stellar quality care to the community through clinically relevant metric reporting, education, strategic alignment, and outreach.
