Foundation Radiology Group Adds Dr. Erik Richter and Dr. Mark Brown to Growing Physician Staff

PITTSBURGH, Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Foundation Radiology Group (FRG), the premier provider of diagnostic imaging professional services, headquartered in downtown Pittsburgh, is pleased to announce the additions of Erik Richter, M.D., and Mark G. Brown, M.D. to its rapidly growing radiology staff.

Dr. Richter joins the FRG team as a staff radiologist. Prior to joining FRG, Dr. Richter, a native of the Slovak Republic, completed a Fellowship in Thoracic Radiology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Richter holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He completed his internship in internal medicine at the Medical College of Virginia, in Richmond and his residency in diagnostic radiology at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Dr. Brown, who also joins FRG as a staff radiologist, brings 11 years of experience to the position.

Most recently, Dr. Brown served as Section Chief of both Nuclear Medicine and Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Jeanes Hospital of the Temple University Health System in Philadelphia. Dr. Brown holds his undergraduate degree from Manhattan College, and received his M.D. from New York University School of Medicine. Following an internship at St. Vincent's Hospital in New York, Dr. Brown completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology and special competency training in Nuclear Medicine at Deaconess Hospital/Harvard University, in Boston. Subsequently, he completed a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at St. Lukes-Roosevelt/Columbia University, in New York. He brings experience in all modalities, including PET/CT.
