Forterus Inc. Elects Jeff Walton, Former Bear Stearns President, to Board of Directors; Applying to Open New Facility near Los Angeles

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. July 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Forterus Inc. (Pink Sheets: FTER), which, through its ABTTC Inc. division provides drug and alcohol rehabilitation and other behavioral healthcare services, announced today that Jeff Walton, former President, CEO and Senior Managing Director of Bear Stearns Residential Mortgage Corporation, has been elected to a special one-year term on the Company's Board of Directors

"Jeff has significant Wall Street experience and one of his assignments will be to utilize his financial contacts to assist Forterus in raising capital," said Paul Howarth, CEO.

Mr. Howarth said also the Company has submitted an application for a conditional use permit to Ventura County, California, a suburb of Los Angeles, to open a self-contained rehabilitation facility there. "This is a top priority for Forterus and would add significant value to the Company," Mr. Howarth said.
