Former Mayor of Indianapolis to Serve as a Senior Strategic Advisor to McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP's Global Infrastructure Finance and Public-Private Partnerships Practice

WASHINGTON, Dec. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP (MLA) is pleased to announce that Stephen Goldsmith, former two term Mayor of Indianapolis, is teaming with MLA's Global Infrastructure Finance and Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) practice as a senior strategic advisor and an independent consultant counseling on public-private partnerships and infrastructure related issues in the transportation, energy, health care and technology industries. Goldsmith holds an international reputation as a leader in creative and innovative public-private partnership arrangements--and while Mayor, for implementing government innovations for transforming the delivery of city services. His efforts to revitalize urban neighborhoods through creating partnerships with community organizations have been held up as a national model of successful public-private partnership arrangements.

In addition to his role as an independent consultant, Goldsmith serves as the Daniel Paul Professor of Government at Harvard University, Kennedy School of Government, where he directs the Innovations in American Government Program. In his new position, Goldsmith is going to support the efforts of the MLA team as an independent consultant and senior strategic advisor with a focus on structuring and executing public-private partnership arrangements and teams.
