Fora Care's FORA Telehealth System (FORA) reduces costs and improves quality of care for diabetes patients. FORA provides long-term real time monitoring of critical diabetes measurements while allowing simple data transmission for patients.

"We are pleased to present our innovative telehealth technology at the ATA conference. We plan to share this breakthrough technology with partners who are seeking the most intelligent and simple to use diabetes management solution available," said Sophia Wu, CEO of Fora Care.

FORA provides flexible solutions to bridge gaps among medical devices including glucose meters, blood pressure monitors, and thermometers to transmission gateways and the Internet-based backend system. FORA technology has embedded wired or wireless modules (including ZigBee and Bluetooth) and provides corresponding home gateways to overcome transmission barriers that patients face with other telehealth technologies. The system provides a seamless proprietary user interface that can customized for the patient. The Application Programming Interface (API) creates a simple to use homecare solution for diabetes patients that can be used with the FORA system or patients' existing systems.

Fora Care provides FDA cleared and CE marked innovative health monitoring devices that provide simple connection to the FORA system. The FORA D15Z is the first 2-in1 blood glucose and blood pressure monitor, providing simple monitoring and measurement for in-home use. Users can choose various gateway types including Ethernet, modem or GPRS, making the devices simple to integrate into any home's connection environment. After each measurement, the monitoring device automatically triggers a signal and transmits the data to the telehealth server, allowing family members and care providers to remotely monitor results and important data trends.

Fora Care's blood glucose meters which easily integrate with the FORA Telehealth System, provide easy-to-use technology include a built-in voice-read out talking function that makes glucose monitoring simple and increases patient understanding of each important reading.

Fora Care is a supporting member of the ATA.
