Fora Care Inc. to Launch Cost-Effective Solution for Diabetes Care at ADA 69th Scientific Sessions
Date:6/4/2009

NEW ORLEANS, June 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Fora Care announces the launch of their Telehealth Solution for Diabetes Care and the unveiling of their Point of Care Testing (POCT) System at the American Diabetes Association (ADA) 69th Scientific Sessions conference from June 6-8 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, New Orleans, LA. Fora Telehealth Systems allow doctors and patients to safely and securely upload critical blood glucose readings over the Internet for better patient care and improved health outcomes. Fora will demonstrate their Diabetes Care Solution and present an ADA published Abstract where researchers used the Fora Telehealth System with improved outcomes. Fora will also introduce for the first time their Blood Glucose Meter with Bluetooth capability. To learn more, visit Fora Care at booth #919 or visit www.foracare.com.

Fora Blood Glucose Meters and Fora 2/1 Blood Glucose/Blood Pressure combination monitor are FDA cleared and can easily upload patient data safely and securely even without a PC. Doctors can manage large numbers of patients more closely from their office computers.

"Diabetes is on the rise and patients need to know they can live a healthy life with Telehealth Systems that more closely monitor critical blood glucose and blood pressure readings. Fora Telehealth Systems connect patient data to physician office systems seamlessly and continuously, putting control back in the patient's hands. Closer management of diabetes reduces the incidence of health complications and overall costs," said Sophia Wu, CEO of Fora Care Inc.
